Sometimes articles have to be a certain amount of words. Microsoft word may count the words, but what if you are not using Word when writing? This is when a
word count tool comes in handy. It is a little bit smarter then the normal Word counting process.
What it does count :
- Words made out of the alphabet.
- Words made from a combination of alphabets and numbers.
- Words with an apostrophe ( ' ) and a hyphen ( - ).
What it DOESN'T count:
- Words starting with an apostrophe ( ' ) or a hypen ( - ).
- Words made solely from numbers, examples:
- 1234 will not be counted
- 1234a will be counted
- HTML tags
This really comes in handy when I am writing something that is not that long. Like when I have something that I want to write about, but should only take about 400 words to get it out.
